Ayano Shigematsu is a violinist born in 1997. Ayano won the 3rd Prize at 13th Telemann Competition in Magdeburg, the special prize for best interpretation of a work composed after 1950 at the 8th International Louis Spohr Competition for Young Violinists. They are the recipient of scholarships by DAAD, Aoyama Music Foundation, and Nomura Foundation. They won Acanthus Music Prize by Tokyo University of the Arts. They graduated master study at Hochschule für Musik Freiburg.
